Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson and Clay
Counties and releasing various easements in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That various easements and deeds in
Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which

Section 3. That the legal descriptions for such
properties listed in Sections 1 and 2 are set forth in Exhibit "A",
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4. All that part of the platted utility
easement along the east 10 feet of Lot 9, Block 21, Park Forest, a subdivision
in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: The west 5 feet
of the south 15 feet, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners,
their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is
authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors
or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 5. That the easement recorded in the office
of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, as Document No.
24546 in book 1209 at page 944, described as follows: All that part of a strip
of land 15.0 feet wide lying 7.5 feet on each side of the following described
centerline: Beginning at a point which lies 850.98 feet southerly of and 106.16
feet easterly of the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 2, Township 50 north, Range 33 west in Kansas City, Clay
County, Missouri, as measured along and perpendicular to the westerly line of
said quarter-quarter; thence S 39 degrees 05' 05" E, this and subsequent
bearings refer to said westerly line of said quarter-quarter as having a
reference bearing of N 0 degree 00' 00" E, a distance of 123.24 feet, this
point being the true point of beginning of said centerline; thence S 03 degrees
11' 21" E a distance of 67.84 feet; thence S 09 degrees 07' 37" E to
the south line of grantor's ownership, except that part thereof in North Cherry
Street, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs
and assigns, and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized
to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or
assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 6. That the slope easement acquired by
Kansas City under Condemnation Ordinance No. 19049, passed May 20, 1955, on
land abutting the alley lying within Lots 1-22, Block 3, Dundee Park, all in
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, be and the same is hereby released to
its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works,
if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present
owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 7. That the platted sewer easements across
the rear 3 feet of Lots 446 and 462, The Highlands Resurvey, a subdivision in
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, be and the same is hereby released to
its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works,
if so requested, is authorized to execute
a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as
further evidence thereof.
Section 8. That the sanitary sewer easement
recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri,
at Kansas City, as Document No. B70976 in book 4624 at page 108, described as
follows: A strip of land six feet in width containing a portion of Lots 37 to
44, inclusive, and a portion of the vacated alley west of and adjoining said
lots in Block 15, Bunker Hill and being three feet on either side of the
following described centerline: Beginning at a point in the centerline of said
vacated alley, 17 feet south of the prolongation of the north line of said Lot
44; thence southeasterly along a line that makes a southeast angle of 61 -
10'-00" with the centerline of said vacated alley, 57.06 feet; thence
southeasterly along a line that deflects to the right 25 - 09'-20" from
the last described course, 87.75 feet; thence southwesterly along a line that
deflects to the right 90 from the last described course, 125.58 feet to a point
in the centerline of said vacated alley which point is 10.67 feet north of the
prolongation of the south line of said Lot 37, be and the same is hereby
released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of
Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to
the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 9. That upon the effective date of this
ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be
recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri,
at Kansas City, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County,
Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
