RESOLUTION NO. 910542

 

Designating an authorized representative for the purpose of filings with the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency.

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That Diane Doran, Assistant City Manager, is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, a public entity established under the laws of the State of Missouri, necessary documents for assistance for the May, 1990 flood and to file them with the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal/State financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (P.L. 93-288, as amended) or otherwise available from the President's Disaster Relief Fund and the RSMo, Chapter 44.

 

Section 2. That Kansas City, a public entity established under the law of the State of Missouri, hereby authorizes its representative to provide to the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for all matters pertaining to such disaster assistance the assurances, application and all other necessary documentation.
