ORDINANCE NO. 910633

 

Establishing KCMAC Leasehold Improvement Revenue Bond Fund; estimating revenues therein in the amount of $9,250,000.00; appropriating said sum to various accounts in connection with the TMC project; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That Fund No. 689, KCMAC Leasehold Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 1991A, is hereby established.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the KCMAC Leasehold Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 1991A, is estimated in the following amount:

 

689-70205 Proceeds from the Sale of Bonds $9,250,000.00

 

Section 3. That the sum of $9,250,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the KCMAC Leasehold Improvement Revenue Bond Series 1991A, Account No. 689-801, to the following accounts in the KCMAC Leasehold Improvement Revenue Fund 1991A:

 

689-95551-T TMC Medical Building and Parking $7,535,000.00 Facility

689-95601-B Bond Issue Expense 175,000.00 689-95616-G Debt Service Reserve 925,000.00 689-95617-G Capitalized Interest for Debt 615,000.00 Service

 

Section 4. That the Director of Finance is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for Account Nos. 689-95551, 689-95601, 689-95616 and 689-95617.

 

Section 5. That the Director of Finance is authorized to close project accounts in Fund No. 689 upon project completion.

 

Section 6. That this ordinance, as a general appropriation ordinance, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 15, Article II of the Charter of Kansas City, and shall take effect immediately upon passage. _______________________________________________________

 

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
