Accepting
and approving a one year $27,874.00 contract with the Missouri Department of
Health to provide funding for the WIC Immunization Project; reducing revenue in
the amount of $472.00 in the Governmental Grants Fund; reestimating revenue in
the amount of $5,417.00 in the Governmental Grants Fund; and appropriating the
sum of $4,945.00 to the WIC - Immun. account of the Governmental Grants Fund.
BE
IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through
its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through
its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide funding for the
WIC Immunization Project for the period of October 1, 2001 through September
30, 2002, for an amount not to exceed $27,874.00, is hereby accepted and
approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference.
Section
2. That the revenue in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund
is hereby reduced by the following amount:

- WIC - Immun $ 472.00
Section
3. That the revenue in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund
is hereby reestimated in the following additional amount:
02-248-050-7358 02
- WIC - Immun $5,417.00
Section
3. That the sum of $4,945.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated
Fund Balance of the Governmental Grants Fund to the following account in the
Governmental Grants Fund:
02-248-050-2125-A WIC
- Immun $4,945.00

hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit
of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a
cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the
