ORDINANCE NO. 061413

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, by changing the land use designation from District GP-5 to District GP-3/4 for an approximately 6.5 acre tract of land generally located on the south side of Missouri Highway 152, east of N. Congress Avenue. (247-S-100)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from District GP-5 (Medium Density Residential) to District GP-3/4 (Regional Business/High Density Residential) for an approximately 6.5 acre tract of land generally located on the south side of Missouri Highway 152, east of N. Congress Avenue, and more specifically described as follows:

 

A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 51 North, Range 34 West in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 895849 East along the North line of said Northeast Quarter, 183.46 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract of land to be herein described; said point being on the Southerly right of way line of Missouri State Highway No. 152 as now established, at a point that is 120.24 feet right of centerline station 14+45 of said Missouri State Highway No. 152; thence North 895849 East along the North line of said Northeast Quarter, and along said Southerly right of way line, 1050.98 feet to a point that is 157.16 feet right of said centerline station 25+00; thence South 731222 East along said Southerly right of way line, 347.51 feet to a point that is 260.00 feet right of said centerline station 28+35; thence South 394359 East along said Southerly right of way line, 431.32 feet to a point that is 590 feet right of said centerline station 31+18; thence South 532215 West along said Southerly right of way line, 157.21 feet to the most Northerly corner of Tract G, Zona Rosa 2nd Plat, a subdivision in said Kansas City; thence North 262728 West, 335.65; thence North 715936 West, 348.01 feet; thence South 804021 West, 473.10 feet ; thence South 892922 West, 436.51 feet; thence North 894808 West, 100.13 feet; thence South 245838 West, 118.53 feet to a point on the Southerly right of way line of said Missouri State Highway No. 152, at a point that is 400.00 feet right of said centerline station 14+43.10; thence North 375821 West along said Southerly right of way line, 61.27 feet to a point that is 350.00 feet right of said centerline station 14+07.68; thence North 001015 East along said Southerly right of way line, 198.44 feet to a point that is 151.80 feet right of said centerline station 14+17.50 feet; thence North 382347 East along said Southerly right of way line, 41.87 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 6.43 acres, more or less.

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have held.
