ORDINANCE NO. 010108
Authorizing execution of a
one year $50,000.00 contract with Mid-America Assistance Coalition for the
provision of services related to the Kansas City homeless population.
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Mid-America Assistance Coalition for the provision
of services to Kansas City homeless population in an amount not to exceed
$50,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-261-057-2036-B
for a period of February 1, 2001 through January 31, 2001. A copy of the
contract is on file in the office of the Director of Neighborhood and Community
Services.

I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
incurred.
