COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 120044

 

Reducing the Contingent Appropriation in the General Fund by $50,000.00; and appropriating it to Neighborhood and Community Services, Dangerous Buildings.

WHEREAS, in cooperation with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, Neighborhood and Community Services will demolish approximately 6 dangerous buildings located in targeted areas; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

12-1000-179990-B Contingent Appropriation $50,000.00

Section 2. That $50,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account:

 

12- 1000-572340-619080 Building Demolitions $50,000.00

I herby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
