ORDINANCE NO. 190531

 

Rezoning an area of about 1.81 acres generally located on the north side of East Missouri 150 Highway between Peterson Road to the west and Horridge Road to the east from District R-80 to District M1-5. (CD-CPC-2018-001240 and CD-CPC-2018-00237).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A1205, rezoning an area of approximately 1.81 acres generally located on the north side of East Missouri 150 Highway between Peterson Road to the west and Horridge Road to the east from District R-80 (Residential 80) to District M1-5 (Manufacturing 1 (dash 5)), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A1205. That an area legally described as:

 

Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 47, Range 32, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Quarter Section; thence North 02 degrees 27 minutes 35 seconds East (record=North 01 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds West) along the east line of said Quarter Section, 49.74 feet to a point on the north right of way line of Missouri Route A (150 Highway) (Outer Belt Road) as conveyed to the State of Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission by General Warranty Deed filed 12/01/2008 as Document No. 2008E0123851; thence along said north right of way line North 86 degrees 32 minutes 20 seconds West, 26.26 feet; thence continuing along said north right of way line North 86 degrees 30 minutes 28 seconds West, 540.95 feet; thence continue along said north right of way line North 89 degrees 31 minutes 29 seconds West, 94.49 feet; thence continue along said north right of way line North 81 degrees 53 minutes 06 seconds West, 5.90 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue along said north right of way line North 81 degree 53 minutes 06 seconds West, 380.35 feet; thence continue along said north right of way line North 84 degrees 02 minutes 50 seconds West, 131.15 feet; thence North 02 degrees 38 minutes 09 seconds East (record=North 01 degree 18 minutes 36 seconds West), 361.90 feet; thence South 49 degrees 00 minutes 25 seconds East, 175.96 feet; thence South 15 degrees 30 minutes 54 seconds East, 140.64 feet; thence South 66 degrees 43 minutes 41 seconds East, 262.44 feet; thence South 50 degrees 20 minutes 27 seconds East, 36.97 feet; thence South 75 degrees 03 minutes 58 seconds East, 54.26 feet; thence South 03 degrees 13 minutes 13 seconds West, 36.67 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 79,064 square feet or 1.82 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-80 (Residential 80) to District M1-5 (Manufacturing 1 (dash 5)), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A1205, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning and Development Code have been given and had.
