Appropriating
$4,074,053.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to
various accounts in the General Fund, representing year end allocation of
unused funds from FY2000-01; designating requisitioning authorities; and
recognizing an emergency.
BE
IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
1. That the sum of $4,074,053.00 is hereby appropriated from the
Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund, No. 100, to the following
accounts in the General Fund:

Section
2. That the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners is hereby designated
as requisitioning authority for Account No. 02-100-009-1612; that the Director
of Finance is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account Nos.
02-100-017-2150 and 02-100-017-9991; and that the Director of City Planning and
Development is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No.
02-100-064-2003.
Section
3. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency within the terms of
Article II, Section 15 of the Charter of Kansas City and shall take effect in
accordance with said section.

hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit
of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a
cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the
fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation
