ORDINANCE NO. 010675

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0366, rezoning an area of approximately 1 acre generally located on the north side of 100th Terrace and approximately 800 feet west of Wornall Road from District R-4-O (Low Apartment, Administrative Office Building) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0366, rezoning an area of approximately 1 acre generally located on the north side of 100th Terrace and approximately 800 feet west of Wornall Road from District R-4-O (Low Apartment, Administrative Office Building) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0366. That an area legally described as:

 

Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 48, Range 33, in the City of Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 6 of Pioneer Hill, a subdivision in said city, county and state; thence South 89E12'00" East, along the northerly right of way line of Pioneer Road, a distance of 40.20 feet, to the point of beginning; thence South 89E12'00" East, continuing along said northerly right of way line, a distance of 50.35 feet; thence North 05E01'34" west, a distance of 310.71 feet, to a point on a curve; thence northwesterly along a curve to the left, having a radius of 251.00 feet, a central angle of 47E27'47", and whose initial tangent bearing is North 05E01'34" West, a distance of 207.93 feet to a point on the easterly right of way line of Woods Road, as now established; thence southeasterly along a curve to the right, having a radius of 1432.70 feet, a central angle of 12E02'09", and whose initial tangent bearing is South 17E02'08" East, a distance of 300.96 feet, thence South 04E59'01" East, continuing along said easterly right of way line, a distance of 191.78 feet, to the point of beginning, containing 0.5306 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-4-O (Low Apartment, Administrative Office Building) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0366, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
