Approving a contract with William A. Gamble for legislative consultant services for 1992.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, between Kansas City and William A. Gamble for legislative consultant services for City related matters in Jefferson City for a total cost not to exceed $32,985.00 for the period from January 1, 1992 through December 31, 1992, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract on behalf of Kansas City.

Section 2. That funds for such contract shall come from those funds previously appropriated for this purpose to Account No. 1-01100B.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
