ORDINANCE NO. 150440

 

Rezoning a 0.5 acre tract of land generally located on the south side of W. 48th Street between J.C. Nichols Parkway and Main Street from District R-0.3 to District B2-5. (14561-P).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A1011, rezoning an area of approximately 0.5 acres generally located on the south side of W. 48th Street between J.C. Nichols Parkway and Main Street from District R-0.3 (Residential dash 0.3) to District B2-5 (Neighborhood Business 2 dash 5), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A1011. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of Lot 1, EXCEPT parts in 48th and 49th Streets, Block 3, Loma Linda, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence South 87 degrees 18 minutes 26 seconds East along the North line of said Lot 1, a distance of 24.28 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 02 degrees 45 minutes 26 seconds West along the West side of a 7 story building, a distance of 248.00 feet to a point on the South line of said Lot 1; thence South 87 degrees 18 minutes 26 seconds East along the South line of said Lot 1, a distance of 92.00 feet; thence North 02 degrees 45 minutes 26 seconds East, a distance of 248.00 feet to a point on the North line of said Lot 1; thence North 87 degrees 18 minutes 26 seconds West along the North line of said Lot 1, a distance of 92.00 feet to the point of beginning, less and except any portion in the present right-of-ways of 48th Street and 49th Street.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-0.3 (Residential dash 0.3) to District B2-5 (Neighborhood Business 2 dash 5), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A01011, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
