ORDINANCE NO. 090516

Accepting a grant from Aquila-Missouri in the amount of $279,876.00 to provide weatherization services; reestimating revenue in the amount of $279,876.00 in the Special Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund; increasing an appropriation in the Aquila Home Weatherization Grant account of the Special Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Housing and Community Development is authorized to accept a grant from Aquila-Missouri for weatherization services in the amount of $279,876.00.

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Special Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund is estimated in the following amount:

10-6380-550001-480740 Aquila Home Weatherization Grant $279,876.00

Section 3. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Special Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund are increased by the following amounts:

10-6380-555802-A Aquila Home Weatherization Grant $ 75,000.00

10-6380-555802-B Aquila Home Weatherization Grant 185,376.00

10-6380-555802-C Aquila Home Weatherization Grant 7,500.00

10-6380-555802-E Aquila Home Weatherization Grant1 12,000.00

TOTAL $279,876.00

Section 4. That the Acting Director of Housing and Community Development Department is designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 10-6380-555802.
