ORDINANCE NO. 100842

 

Rezoning an area of approximately 3.47 acres generally located on the north side of NW. Barry Road, approximately 185 feet east of N. Green Hills Road, from District GP-7 to District B3-3. (14144-P).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-11A0874, rezoning an area of approximately 3.47 acres generally located on the north side of NW. Barry Road, approximately 185 feet east of N. Green Hills Road, from District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential) to District B3-3 (Community Business - 3), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-11A0874. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 2,127.94 feet South and 260.0 feet East of the Northwest corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 51, Range 33; thence East and parallel with the South line of the NE 1/4 a distance of 367.00 feet; thence South and parallel with the West line of the NE 1/4 a distance of 484.04 feet to the center line of a county road; thence West a distance of 367.0 feet; thence North and parallel with the West line of the NE 1/4 a distance of 484.04 feet to the point of beginning, except that part deeded to the City of Kansas City, a municipal corporation of the State of Missouri, in the Quit-Claim Deed recorded August 30, 1984 in Book 664 at Page 812 as Document No. 9119.

 

is hereby rezoned from District GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential) to District B3-3 (Community Business - 3), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-11A0874, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
