ORDINANCE NO. 100277

 

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute a five-year cooperative agreement in the amount of $619,095.75 with Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) for the operation of signals for Operation Greenlight and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend funds for the contract.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year cooperative agreement with MARC in the amount of $619,095.75 for the operation of signals on the Operation Greenlight system. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is authorized to expend the sum of $97,286.48 from funds previously appropriated to the following account:

 

10-2080-892021-B Traffic Engineering $97,286.48

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
