Authorizing a personal services contract with Linda Becker for Fiscal Year 1999-2000.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Mayor Pro Tempore is authorized to enter into a personal services contract from funds appropriated in the 1999-2000 Budget in Account No. 00-100-001-1500B with Linda Becker in the amount of $35,280.00 to serve as a Council Assistant during the 1999-2000 Fiscal Year.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
