ORDINANCE NO. 961181

 

Authorizing execution of a Cooperative Agreement with the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri, for funds for improvements associated with the Midtown Marketplace Project and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement with the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri, for funds for the Midtown Marketplace, in the amount of $675,000.00, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 97-309-064-6211. A copy of said Cooperative Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file copies of this ordinance, together with the Cooperative Agreement attached hereto, in the office of the Secretary of State of Missouri and in the office of the Director of Records of Jackson County, Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
