ORDINANCE NO. 900447

Authorizing the First Amendment to the Reimbursement Agreement with Delta Air Lines, Inc. for asbestos abatement work at KCI Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a First Amendment to the Reimbursement Agreement with Delta Air Lines, Inc. for Project No. A-26-DELTA Asbestos Abatement Reimbursement at Kansas City International Airport. A copy of the amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amount from funds heretofore appropriated to the General Improvement Airport Construction Fund Account No. 353-00018 P (KCI Fireproofing Material Removal and Replacement) for work performed under the aforesaid agreement.

$252,904.56 for asbestos abatement work

Section 3. That the terms and conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in said amendment are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
