RESOLUTION NO. 911058

Declaring it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on an alley between Belleview Avenue and Madison Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Council finds and declares it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grade on an alley between Belleview Avenue and Madison Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, as shown on the plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said alley, on the center which shall be connected by straight grades (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given below in feet above the City directrix as follows, to wit:

At a point on the south line of 16th Street 207.50

At a point 194.75 feet south of the south line 215.35 of 16th Street

At a point 354.75 feet south of the south line 214.55 of 16th Street

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 194.75 feet south shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 40 feet in length.

At a point 474.75 feet south of the south line 210.50 of 16th Street

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 354.75 feet south shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 40 feet in length.

At a point 684.75 feet south of the south line 212.90 of 16th Street

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 474.75 feet south shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 40 feet in length.

At a point on the north line of 17th Street 198.00

Except that the grade planes meeting at a point 684.75 feet south shall be connected by a vertical curve having tangents 30 feet in length.

This resolution is recommended for approval by the Director of Public Works.
