ORDINANCE NO. 910570

 

Authorizing a contract with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority in the amount of $150,000.00 to provide, in cooperation with Jackson County and the Missouri Department of Mental Health, funding for specialized transportation services for fiscal year 1991-1992.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority in the amount of $150,000.00 for the KCATA to provide, in cooperation with the Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled and the Department of Mental Health for the State of Missouri, shared funding for specialized transportation services for fiscal year 1991-1992. The contract shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend $150,000.00 from funds previously appropriated in the fiscal year 1991-1992 budget to Account No. 8-19118 B as and for consideration in the aforesaid contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
