ORDINANCE NO. 900618
Authorizing the Director of City Planning and Development
to expend such sums herein appropriated for payment of relocation benefits to
such businesses displaced by the Bartle Hall Improvement; reducing
appropriation of $200,000.00 from the Bartle Hall Expansion - Construction
Account; appropriating $200,000.00 to the Bartle Hall Expansion Relocation
Account; and designating the requisitioning authority for the Bartle Hall
Expansion Relocation Account.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of City Planning and
Development is authorized to expend such sums from funds herein appropriated
for payment of relocation benefits to such businesses displaced by the Bartle
Hall Improvement. The term "relocation benefits" as used herein
shall mean the relocation benefits offered in accordance with Section 36.7.8 of
the Code of General Ordinances.
Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account
of the KCMAC Leasehold Refunding and Improvement Fund 1990, is hereby reduced
by the following amount:
685-40522T Bartle Hall Expansion - Construction
$200,000.00
Section 3. That the sum of $200,000.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the KCMAC Leasehold
Refunding and Bartle Hall Improvement Fund 1990, Account No. 685-801 to the
following account:
685-15205T Bartle Hall Expansion - Relocation
$200,000.00
Section 4. That the Director of City Planning and
Development is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for the Bartle
Hall Expansion - Relocation Account No. 685-15205T.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
