ORDINANCE NO. 910418

 

Reducing appropriations in the 2nd District, Curbs and Sidewalks Account; estimating revenues; appropriating funds to the 9th Street Streetscape Account; and designating the Director of Public Works as the requisitioning authority.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the Capital Improvements Fund is hereby reduced as follows:

 

9-40910T Curbs and Sidewalks, 2nd District $100,000.00

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Capital Improvements Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

9-70929 Contribution from Cumberland $ 60,000.00 Redevelopment Corporation for

9th Street Streetscape

 

Section 3. That the sum of $160,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund, Account No. 9-801, to the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund:

 

9-15739T 9th Street Streetscape, 2nd District $160,000.00

 

Section 4. That the Director of Public Works is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for the following account:

 

9-15739T 9th Street Streetscape, 2nd District $160,000.00 ________________________________________________________

 

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
