ORDINANCE NO. 061037
Devoting certain City owned
property for street right of way and directing the City Clerk to record such
devotion.
WHEREAS, a
portion of property in the vicinity of East 93rd Street and Hillcrest Road and
owned by the City is needed as right of way for street improvements.
WHEREAS the City
devotes a portion thereof for public purposes as part of said street improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the City hereby devotes a portion of the property for public purposes as part
of the street improvements to Hillcrest Road as described below:
NEW RIGHT OF WAY for
the street now known as East 93rd Street and Hillcrest Road over the following
described land.
All that part of Lot 2, 3-TRAILS VILLAGE SQUARE, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County,
Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the
point of intersection of the Southerly right-of-way line of East 93rd Street
with the Westerly right-of-way line of Hillcrest Road, as said Street and Road
are both now established, said point being the Northeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence Northwesterly and Westerly along the Northerly line of said Lot 2, being
also along the Southerly right-of-way line of said East 93rd Street, the
following courses and distances; thence Northwesterly and Westerly along a
curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of North 17 degrees 54
minutes 42 seconds East, a radius of 29 feet and a central angle of 40 degrees
43 minutes 51 seconds, an arc length of 20.62 feet to a point of compound
curve; thence Northwesterly along a curve to the left, tangent to the last
described curve, having a radius of 51 feet and a central angle of 37 degrees
16 minutes 14 seconds, an arc length of 33.18 feet to a point of compound
curve; thence Northwesterly along a curve to the left, tangent to the last
described curve, having a radius of 85 feet and a central angle of 04 degrees
44 minutes 07 seconds, an arc length of 7.02 feet; thence Southeasterly along a
curve to the right, no longer along the Northerly line of said Lot 2 or along
said Southerly right-of-way line, said curve having an initial tangent bearing
of South 53 degrees 02 minutes 51 seconds East, a radius of 64 feet and a
central angle of 19 degrees 44 minutes 54 seconds, an arc length of 22.06 feet;
thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 57 seconds East, not tangent to the last
described curve, a distance of 1.19 feet; thence Southeasterly, along a curve
to the right, having an initial tangent bearing of South 32 degrees 43 minutes
19 seconds East, a radius of 65 feet and a central angle of 35 degrees 53
minutes 46 seconds, an arc length of 40.72 feet to a point on the Easterly line
of said Lot 2, being also a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of said
Hillcrest Road, said point being 7.26 feet South of the point of beginning of
the herein described tract, as measured along said Easterly line and along said
Westerly right-of-way line; thence Northeasterly along the Easterly line of
said Lot 2, being also along the Westerly right-of-way line of said Hillcrest
Road, being along a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of
North 18 degrees 04 minutes 54 seconds East, a radius of 2,443 feet and a
central angle of 00 degrees 10 minutes 13 seconds, an arc length of 7.26 feet
to the Point of Beginning. Containing 224 square feet, more or less.
