ORDINANCE NO. 960200

Amending Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Administrative Code, by adding a new section to be known as Section 2-1082.5, Waiver of Salary.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section A. That Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances, commonly known as the Administrative Code, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new section to be known as Section 2-1082.5, said section to read as follows:

Section 2-1082.5. Waiver.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2-1082, a councilmember may elect to waive all or part of the salary or monthly automotive allowance provided in Section 2-1082. Such election shall be made by sending written notice to the Director of Finance and the Director of Human Resources specifying the extent of the waiver and period such waiver shall apply.
