ORDINANCE NO. 900661

 

Approving and authorizing First Amendment to Base Lease, First Amendment to Master Lease Purchase Agreement and First Amendment to Master Indenture of Trust between the City and the Kansas City Municipal Assistance Corporation in connection with the H. Roe Bartle Convention Center Project.

WHEREAS, the Kansas City Municipal Assistance Corporation (KCMAC) has issued its Leasehold Refunding and Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 1990 B in the principal amount of $48,536,506.00; and

 

WHEREAS, the City and the Corporation desire to amend the Base Lease, the Master Lease Purchase Agreement and the Master Indenture of Trust utilized in connection therewith; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Council approves the First Amendment to Base Lease, First Amendment to Master Lease Purchase Agreement and First Amendment to Master Indenture of Trust, in substantially the forms attached hereto, incorporated herein by reference and designated respectively Exhibit A, Exhibit B and Exhibit C.

 

Section 2. That the officials of the City are further authorized and directed to execute such documents, instruments and certificates and to take such further actions on behalf of the City as shall be necessary or desirable to effect the terms and provisions of this ordinance.
