ORDINANCE NO. 120333

 

Authorizing a $313,630.00 contract with 100 Men of Blue Hills for Project No. 12 -314-02 and authorizing the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services to amend and increase this contract by up to $100,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a $313,630.00 contract with 100 Men of Blue Hills for nuisance abatement services for Project No. 12-314-02. A copy of the contract is on file in the Directors Office.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to amend this contract and to increase the amount of the contract in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 without further City Council approval.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to expend the sum of $413,630.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 13-1000-572331-B.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
