Authorizing the Director of
Aviation to release aeronautical easements at Richards-Gebaur in Jackson County.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That various aeronautical easements on and appurtenant to the former Richards-Gebaur
Airport in Kansas City, Missouri, Jackson County, conveyed to Kansas City,
Missouri by the United States of America which appear of record as the
instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

A tract of land
situated in the South One-Half of Section 27, Township 47 North, Range 33 West
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of said Section
27, said point being 750 feet west of the southeast corner of the Southwest
Quarter of said section; thence in a northeasterly direction to the northwest
corner of the South One-Half, Southeast Quarter, Southeast Quarter, Southwest
Quarter of said section; thence northeasterly to a point on the east line of
the said Southwest Quarter, 900 feet north of the southeast corner thereof;
thence east, parallel to the south line of said section, 660 feet; thence
southeasterly to a point on the east line of the West One-Half of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 27, said point being 700 feet north of the southeast
corner thereof; thence southeasterly to a point on the south line of said
Southeast Quarter, 500 feet east of the southwest corner of the East One-Half
of said Southeast Quarter; thence west along the said south line of said
Section 27 to the point of beginning, containing 39.43 acres, more or less,
excepting therefrom 0.25 acre lying within Fee Tract No. 103, known as
Grandview Radio Beacon Annex No. 2, as acquired from the Columbian Hog and
Cattle Powder Company by Civil Action No. 10720 filed 11-30-56.

situated in the Southwest Quarter, Southwest Quarter Southeast Quarter and in
the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 47 North, Range 33 West of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri, which, with clearance
easement requirements is more particularly described as follows, level datum
being mean sea level: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Southwest
Quarter Southwest Quarter Southeast Quarter of Section 27, with ground
elevation of 1043 feet, transitional surface elevation of 1098 feet and
clearance of approximately 55 feet above ground; thence northerly along the
east line of said Southwest Quarter Southwest Quarter Southeast Quarter, 165
feet to a point with ground elevation of 1035 feet, transitional surface elevation
of 1094 feet and clearance of approximately 59 feet above ground; thence
westerly parallel to the south line of said Southwest Quarter Southwest Quarter
Southeast Quarter, approximately 130 feet to a point with ground elevation of
1032 feet, and clearance of approximately 44 feet above ground, where the 1:7
transitional surface intersects the glide plane surface at elevation 1076 feet;
thence continuing westerly parallel to said south line to a point on the west
line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 27, with ground elevation of 1038
feet, glide plane surface elevation of 1075 feet and clearance of approximately
37 feet above ground; thence in a northwesterly direction to a point 330 feet
north of the south line and 330 feet west of the east line of the Southwest
Quarter of said Section 27, with ground elevation of 1036 feet, glide plane
surface elevation of 1078 feet and clearance of approximately 42 feet above
ground; thence northerly parallel to the east line of said Southwest Quarter,
500 feet to a point with ground elevation of 1050 feet, glide plane surface
elevation of 1087 feet and clearance of approximately 37 feet above ground;
thence in a northwesterly direction to a point 1450 feet north of the south
line and 990 feet west of the east line of said Southwest Quarter with ground
elevation of 1055 feet, glide plane surface elevation of 1098 feet and
clearance of approximately 43 feet above ground; thence westerly parallel to
said south line approximately 115 feet to a point with ground elevation of 1057
feet, glide plane surface elevation of 1098 feet and clearance of approximately
41 feet above ground, where the glide plane surface intersects the 1:7
transitional surface; thence continuing westerly parallel to said south line to
the point of intersection with the centerline of the right-of-way of the Kansas
City Southern Railway Company with ground elevation of 1065 feet, transitional
surface elevation of 1115 feet and clearance of approximately 50 feet above
ground; thence in a southwesterly direction along said centerline to the point
of intersection with the south line of said Section 27, with ground elevation
of 1065 feet, transitional surface elevation of 1103 feet and clearance of
approximately 38 feet above ground; thence easterly along the south line of
said Section 27, approximately 240 feet to a point with ground elevation of
1060 feet, and clearance of approximately 9 feet above ground, where the 1:7
transitional surface intersects the glide plane surface at elevation 1069 feet;
thence continuing easterly along said south line approximately 1575 feet to a
point with ground elevation of 1042 feet, glide plane surface elevation of 1073
feet and clearance of approximately 31 feet above ground, where the glide plane
surface intersects the 1:7 transitional surface; thence continuing easterly
along said south line to the point of beginning, containing 32.35 acres, more
or less.
All recorded in the office of the
Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, are hereby released to their
present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Aviation, if so
requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners,
their heirs and assigns, as further evidence thereof.
