ORDINANCE NO. 960494

 

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into a third supplemental agreement with International Architects Atelier, Inc., for the design of streetscape improvements to Southwest Boulevard and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $251,015.00 in previously appropriated funds therefore.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a Third Supplement to Agreement No. 920042, between International Architects Atelier, Inc., and Kansas City, Missouri, relating to engineering services in connection with the design of Southwest Boulevard, expanding scope of Phase II and design and plans for Phase III in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 2, Project No. 1277. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $251,015.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 95-393-089-7209-T as and for consideration for the aforesaid Third Supplement to Agreement No. 920042.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
