ORDINANCE NO. 950692

 

Authorizing the Director of City Development to execute a Cooperative Agreement between the City and the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority, in the amount of $262,000.00, from funds previously appropriated for City Market marketing operations, and directing the City Clerk to file such agreement.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement, on behalf of the City, with Planned Industrial Expansion Authority, in the amount of $262,000.00 to provide for operating expenses for the City Market from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 96-100-064-2501-B, City Market Operations. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto in substantial form and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of said Cooperative Agreement in the office of the Director of Records, Jackson County, Missouri, and to file a copy with the Secretary of State of Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
