ORDINANCE NO. 980092

Estimating revenue and reducing appropriations in the total amount of $97,844.00 in various accounts in the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund; and appropriating said sum to the Midtown Marketplace account in the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund.

WHEREAS, there are additional interest revenues available to the City from MDFB Bond proceeds due to a slower drawdown schedule; and

WHEREAS, the Midtown Bond issuance costs were actually less than budgeted; and

WHEREAS, the Midtown Marketplace Project requires additional funds to complete the original project activities of clearance, demolition, environmental remediation and property maintenance for the Midtown Marketplace Project; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That revenue in the amount of $29,911.00 is hereby estimated in the following account in the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund:

97-328-012-6010 Interest on Investment-Trustee $29,911.00

Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account of the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund is hereby reduced in the following amount:

97-328-012-9620-B Midtown Bond Issue Expense $67,933.00

Section 3. That the sum of $97,844.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund to the following account in the MDFB Midtown Bond 1996 Fund:

98-328-064-6211-T Midtown Marketplace $97,844.00
