COMMITTEE SUBSTIUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 120610

 

Authorizing an approximately $51,000.00 amendment with H W Lochner, Inc., for the Red Bridge Road Phase 1 project; and recognizing an emergency.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works Department is authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a $51,300.00 Amendment No. 8 to an agreement with H W Lochner, Inc., for construction phase services for Project No. 890B8054 - Red Bridge Road Phase 1 from Holmes Road to Blue River Road, from funds previously appropriated to Account No.: 13-3090-878016-B-890B8054. A copy of the amendment is on file in the Public Works Department.

 

Section 2. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503 of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
