ORDINANCE NO. 950707

Approving a contract with Operation Breakthrough, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $92,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated in the 1995-1996 City Budget for provision of transportation and child care services to the homeless.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a contract entered into by the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services on behalf of the City with Operation Breakthrough is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed $92,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated in the 1995-1996 City Budget to Account Number 96-100-057-2035-B for provision of transportation and child care services to the homeless.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
