ORDINANCE NO. 190169

 

Approving a Council approved signage plan to allow for a unified signage plan for the Metro North Square development on approximately 36 acres generally located on the east side of U.S. Highway 169 and south of N.W. Barry Road (815 N.W. Barry Road) in District B3-2 (CPC-2018-00224)

 

WHEREAS, the Metro North Square development is approximately 36 acres; and

 

WHEREAS, Metro North Square has proposed a signage plan which will unify the development and create a visually cohesive appearance; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission on January 15, 2019, recommended that the signage plan be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That a Council approved signage plan is hereby approved for the Metro North Square development on approximately 36 acres generally located on the east side of U.S. Highway 169 and south of N.W. Barry Road, (815 N.W. Barry Road) in District B3-2, and more specifically described as:

 

All of Barway Plaza, a subdivision of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 10, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri

 

Section B. That a copy of the Council approved signage plan is on file in the City Clerk’s office.

 

Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning and Development Code have been given and had.
