ORDINANCE NO. 950767

 

Authorizing an agreement with SAVE, Inc., to provide housing and housing related services to persons infected with HIV for the period of April 4, 1995 through March 31, 1996, for which the City will provide $475,000.00 in previously appropriated funds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That an agreement between Kansas City and SAVE, Inc., to provide housing and housing related services to persons who are infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, in an amount not to exceed $475,000.00, for the period April 4, 1995 through March 31, 1996, from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 96-273-050-2446-B, is hereby authorized. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
