ORDINANCE NO. 960328

 

Authorizing the Director of the Office of Environmental Management to enter into a $112,500.00 agreement with Bridging The Gap, Inc., to provide environmental education and waste reduction program services and authorizing the Director to expend an amount not to exceed $112,500.00 in furtherance of said agreement.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Office of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, with Bridging The Gap, Inc., a Missouri not-for-profit corporation, in the amount of $112,500.00 for environmental education and waste reduction program services. A copy of said contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of the Office of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $112,500.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 96-100-010-1400-B for the work described in the aforesaid contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
