ORDINANCE NO. 150804

 

Authorizing Design Professional Services Contract Amendment No. 3 with Tetra Tech, Inc., for the Northeast Industrial District Basin Sewer Separation Diversion Structure 006 Project; authorizing a maximum expenditure of $534,708.00; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 1110, Project No. 81000701 with Tetra Tech, Inc., in the amount of $534,708.00 for design professional services for the Northeast Industrial District Basin Sewer Separation Diversion Structure 006 Project, located in Jackson County, Kansas City, Missouri.  A copy of the amendment is on file in the office of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to a maximum of $534,708.00 from Account No. 16-8110-807769-B-611040-81000701, Overflow Control Plan, to satisfy the costs of this amendment.

 

Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.
