ORDINANCE NO. 900662

 

Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties and releasing various easements in Jackson and Platte Counties.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements and deeds in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Temporary Easement from Holy Land Christian Mission, now Children International, Instrument No. K941960, book

all recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1 through 4 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. That all that part of the platted utility easement located in Lot 11, Morningview Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: The north 3 feet of the south 10 feet of said lot, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Public Works, is so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 7. That all that part of the platted storm drainage easement located in Lot 17, Block 2, Picture Hills 1st Plat, a subdivision in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 17; thence north 61 degrees 08 minutes 05 seconds east, along the northwest (rear) line of said lot, 25.12 feet; thence south 23 degrees 10 minutes 00 seconds east, parallel with the southwesterly line of said lot, along the northeasterly line of said easement 45.00 feet, to the point of beginning; thence south 66 degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds west, 3.0 feet; thence south 23 degrees 10 minutes 00 seconds east 35.00 feet; thence north 66 degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds east, 3.00 feet to the northeasterly line of said easement; thence north 23 degrees 10 minutes 00 seconds west, 35.00 feet, to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works, is so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 8. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City and Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
