ORDINANCE NO. 031282
Authorizing the Director
of Public Works to act as the Citys representative and designated to execute
Municipal Agreements with the Missouri Department of Transportation.
WHEREAS, the
Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the City of Kansas City,
Missouri, do periodically enter into Municipal Agreements for the repair,
rehabilitation, removal, replacement and maintenance of the State highway
system within the Kansas City limits; and
WHEREAS, MoDOT
may on occasion utilize the Citys infrastructure to build or rehabilitate
their projects; and
WHEREAS, MoDOT
requires an official designation by the City of the person to be responsible
for the execution of said agreements; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute any and all
Municipal Agreements between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and MoDOT, for
the repair, rehabilitation, removal, replacement and maintenance of the State
highway system within the city limits of Kansas City, Missouri, and to allow
MoDOT the use of the Citys infrastructure to build or rehabilitate their
projects.
