ORDINANCE NO. 910510

 

Authorizing the annual contract for emergency repair and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment in the amount of $250,000.00 with Lippert Air Conditioning and Heating Service, Inc.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the work of providing emergency repair and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment of various City owned buildings for the period May 1, 1991 through April 30, 1992, with a one year renewal option, is hereby provided for and authorized.

 

Section 2. That the work shall be done in accordance with the plans, specifications and the contract therefore between Kansas City, Missouri, through its Director of Public Works, and Lippert Air Conditioning and Heating Service, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00, which contract is hereby approved and confirmed. A copy of the said contract is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend a sum not to exceed $250,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 001-40717T as and for consideration in the said contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
