ORDINANCE NO. 190277
Authorizing the Director of
General Services to execute a lease agreement with Parson &Associates LLC
for its lease of 1780 Woodland Avenue in the 18th and Vine Historic District;
authorizing the Director of General Services to provide funding for tenant
finish improvements not to exceed the amount of $50,000.00; and recognizing
this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the
Director of General Services Department is authorized to execute a lease
agreement with Parson & Associates LLC of the City-owned real property
located at 1780 Woodland Avenue in the 18th and Vine Historic
District for office and meeting space. A copy of the lease agreement is on file
in the General Services Department.
Section
2. That the Director of General Services Department is hereby authorized to
expend the sum of $50,000.00 from funds previously appropriated from Account
No. AL-3436-648043-B-64017101 18th and Vine for Tenant Improvements.
Section 3. That
this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of
a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated
effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and
shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.

I hereby certify that
these is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation
to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance,
otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which
payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
