ORDINANCE NO. 100760

 

Authorizing the execution of Second Amendment to the Operation and Maintenance of Specified System(s) Agreement with Facility Operation Services at the Overhaul Base at Kansas City International Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. Authorizing the Director of Aviation to execute a Second Amendment to the Operation and Maintenance of Specified System(s) Agreement with Facility Operation Services for Kansas City International Airport Overhaul Base central utility plant repair, maintenance and operation by increasing the amount thereof by $16,100,000.00 from funds to be hereinafter appropriated for a total contract amount of $38,079,142.00 and adding an additional three years to the original contract term by converting the existing two one-year options to a five-year term for a total contract term of ten years. Contract term years six through ten are subject to the appropriation of funds. A copy of the agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
