Approving an amendment to a previously
approved development plan in District GP-2 (General Transient Retail Business)
on approximately a 20 acre tract of land generally located at the northwest
corner of N. Newark Circle and N. Ambassador Drive, for the purpose of deleting
an approximately 9.79 acre tract of land from said development plan. (5963-GP-5)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That an
amendment to a previously approved development plan in District GP-2 (General
Transient Retail Business) on approximately a 20 acre tract of land generally
located at the northwest corner of N. Newark Circle and N. Ambassador Drive,
and more specifically described as follows:
A tract of land in
the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 52, Range 34 Kansas City, Platte
County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point 1325.47 feet east
of and 60 feet north of the South Quarter Corner of Section 23, Township 52,
Range 34; thence North 0E04'00"
East, 1021.24 feet; thence South 89E57'00"
West, 1021.24 to a point on the easterly right of way line of Interstate Route
29; thence South 7E25'55" East
along said right of way line, 283.67 feet; thence South 15E20'41" East along said right of way
line, 435.10 feet; thence South 56E12'46"
East along said right of way line, 530.26 feet; thence North 89E57'00" East along said right of way
line, 200.0 feet; thence South 0E03'00"
East, 20.0 feet; thence North 89E57'00"
East along the apparent northerly right of way line of a county road, 226.83
feet to the point of beginning. Containing 20.0 acres
for the purpose of deleting
therefrom an approximately 9.79 acre tract of land, more specifically described
as follows:
Tract F and Tract K,
Plaza International, Third Plat, a subdivision in Kansas City, Platte County,
Missouri.
so that the remaining tract of
land of approximately 10.21 acres, more specifically described as follows:
A tract of land in
the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 52, Range 34 Kansas City, Platte
County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point 1325.47 feet east

A copy of said amendment is on
file in the office of the City Clerk under with this ordinance and is made a
part hereof.
Section B. That the
Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
