Authorizing adjustments in the rate schedule at the Municipal Courts Parking Facility.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 59884, as amended, established the range of parking rates to be charged at the Municipal Courts Parking Facility and set forth the manner in which the effective rates would be set; and

WHEREAS, the cost of major rehabilitation work completed in FY 1989-90 necessitates adjustments in parking rates; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended the increases in the rates as set forth herein, in order to generate revenue to enable the facility to remain self-supporting; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is authorized to adjust the rate schedule for the Municipal Courts Building Parking Facility as follows:

0.0 - 0.5 hours $ 1.00 0.5 - 1.0 hours 2.00 1.0 - 12.0 hours 3.00 Monthly 45.00 Saturday 1.25 Enter after 3:00 p.m. 1.00
