ORDINANCE NO. 060951

 

Authorizing a nine-month $319,651.00 contract with Kansas City Free Health Clinic to provide ambulatory/outpatient medical care to eligible clients in the Kansas City Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) who meet Ryan White Title I guidelines.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That an agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, acting through its Executive Director, whereby the Kansas City Free Health Clinic will provide ambulatory and outpatient medical services to eligible clients in the Kansas City Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) for the period of June 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007, for an amount not to exceed $319,651.00 to be paid from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 07-2730-505003-B, is hereby authorized. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
