ORDINANCE NO. 050301

 

Rezoning approximately 82 acres generally located approximately 1, 200 feet east of N. Indiana Avenue, between N.E. 85th Terrace on the south and N.E. 92nd Street on the north from District RA to District R-1a. (13281-P).

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0619, rezoning an area of approximately 82 acres generally located approximately 1,200 feet east of N. Indiana Avenue, between N.E. 85th Terrace on the south and N.E. 92nd Street on the north from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings, Medium Density), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0619. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6; thence South 0o2232 West (Deed South 0o0933 West), along the East line of said Southeast Quarter, 2634.67 feet (Deed 2634.58 feet) to the Southeast Quarter of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 89o3720 West (Deed North 89o5003 West) along the South line of said Southeast Quarter, 1344.84 feet (Deed 1345.17 feet) to the Southwest corner of the East 33.00 feet of the West One-half of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 0o2427 East (Deed North 0o1704 East), along the West line of the East 33.00 feet of the West One-half of said Southeast Quarter, 2630.71 feet to the Northwest corner of the East 33.00 feet of said West One-half; thence South 89o4728 East (Deed South 89o4253 East), along the North line of said Southeast Quarter, 1343.37 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 81.23 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings, Medium Density), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0619, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
