Authorizing and approving an amendment to the Sponsorship Agreement with Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Mid-America, Inc.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Convention and Entertainment Centers is authorized to execute an amendment to the Sponsorship Agreement with Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Mid-America, Inc. for the exclusive sale and advertisement of certain beverages in Municipal Auditorium, Bartle Hall, Kemper Arena and the American Royal Complex. The amendment will, among other things, increase the City's compensation under the agreement and extend the agreement for an additional 9 years. The amendment is approved in substantial form as that on file in the office of the Director of Convention and Entertainment Centers.
