Rezoning approximately 38.7 acres generally located south of N.W. 88th Street and east of N. Platte Purchase Drive from District RA to District R-2b. (11426-P-20)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0625, rezoning an area of approximately 38.7 acres generally located south of N.W. 88th Street and east of N. Platte Purchase Drive from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0625. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Fractional Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Fractional Northwest Quarter; thence North 0o3034 East along the West line of said Fractional Northwest Quarter, 512.05 feet; thence South 89o2926 East, 49.15 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described, said point being also a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of N. Platte Purchase Drive, as now established; thence Northerly on a curve to the right, along said Easterly line, having a initial tangent bearing of North 0o4037 West, a radius of 4960.00 feet, an arc distance of 114.97 feet; thence North 0o3904 East along said Easterly line, 343.57 feet; thence Northerly on a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of North 02o1022 East, a radius of 5050.00 feet, an arc distance of 174.49 feet; thence North 0o1135 East along said Easterly line, 87.19 feet; thence South 89o2854 East, 171.23 feet; thence South 77o2455 East, 54.92 feet; thence South 47o1557 East, 78.94 feet; thence North 87o4403 East, 57.11 feet; thence North 42o4403 East, 89.06 feet; thence North 02o1557 West, 60.85 feet; thence North 28o5945 West, 235.47 feet; thence North 0o3106 East, 573.46 feet; thence North 23o3241 East, 79.14 feet; thence North 0o3106 East, 228.68 feet; thence South 89o2854 East, 98.76 feet; thence Easterly on a curve to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 1494.00 feet, an arc distance of 631.99 feet; thence North 66o1652 East, 84.08 feet; thence Easterly on a curve to the right, tangent to the last described course, having a radius of 1506.00 feet, an arc distance of 54.58 feet; thence South 21o3624 East along the Westerly line of Tract A, BARRY TOWNE THIRD PLAT, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, and its Northerly prolongation, 137.58 feet; thence South 29o2436 West along said Westerly line, 201.67 feet; thence South 16o5219 West along said Westerly line, 193.20 feet; thence South 04o4614 West along said Westerly line, 977.16 feet; thence South 74o5620 East along said Westerly line, 247.90 feet to a point on the Westerly line of BARRY TOWNE TARGET, a subdivision on Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence South 15o0328 West along said Westerly line, 502.34 feet; thence South 82o5602 West, 304.89 feet; thence North 89o2939 West, 791.60 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Containing 38.68 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0625, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
