ORDINANCE NO. 930013

Authorizing an agreement with Howard Needles Tammen & Bergendoff for the design of taxiway guide signs and airfield lighting at KCI Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $84,530.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Howard Needles Tammen & Bergendoff for design services on Project No. A73 - Replace Taxiway Guidance Signs at Kansas City International Airport. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amounts from funds heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airport Fund (821-062-7236-T- 1104) for work to be performed under the aforesaid contract:

$77,530.00 for consultant services $ 7,000.00 for contingent obligations

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in said agreement are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
