ORDINANCE NO. 060848

Approving recommendations of the Arterial Street Impact Fee Committee; transferring appropriations in the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

WHEREAS, the Arterial Street Impact Fee Committee on February 17, 2006 recommended to the City Council the following project allocations in the Line Creek Development Impact Fee District:

• $375,000.00 to expand the design of NW 72nd Street from I-29 to Platte Purchase Drive;
• $175,000.00 for modification of intersection at Missouri Route 9 and N. Congress Avenue; and
• $25,000.00 for the preliminary design and estimate of N. Platte Purchase Drive from NW 76th Street to NW Barry Road ; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the recommendations of the Arterial Street Impact Fee for project allocations in the Line Creek Development Impact Fee District are hereby approved.

Section 2. That the sum of $575,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund to the following accounts in the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund:

07-2430-897299-B NW 72nd Street $375,000.00

07-2430-897299-B Missouri Route 9 and N. Congress Avenue 175,000.00

07-2430-897299-B N. Platte Purchase Drive 25,000.00

TOTAL $575,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is designated requisitioning authority on Account No. 07-2430-897299.
