ORDINANCE NO. 950766

 

Authorizing a $1,500,000.00 contract with the Housing Development Corporation and Information Center, Inc., for the purpose of providing Section 108 loan funds for the Quality Heights II Housing Project and repealing Section 5 of Ordinance No. 941323.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the Housing Development Corporation and Information Center, Inc., in the amount of $1,500,000.00, for the purpose of providing Section 108 loan funds for the development of the Quality Heights II Housing Project, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 95-254-055-2424-B, Quality Heights II - HUD Loan. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 941323, passed October 13, 1994, is hereby repealed.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
